| 内容記述 | 異なる文化をもつ社会では,青年期段階の親子関係はどのような差異があるのか。また,その差異が「独立意識」といった側面における子どもの成長にどのように反映するのかについて調べた。中国と日本の大学生を対象として,親子関係尺度(落合・佐藤,1996)の縮小版と独立意識尺度(加藤・高木,1980)を用いた質問紙調査を行い,両国の大学生のデータを比較した。その結果,中国人大学生が日本人大学生よりも親に対して高い依存性を示すことが明らかになった。ただし,独立意識においても中国人大学生が日本人大学生より有意に高いことが示された。これらの結果を導くものとして,両国の文化的背景と社会的背景を考察した。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This study explores how university students of different social cultures in China or in Japan negotiate their dependence or independence. It examines to what extent university students who study in China or in Japan being dependent on or independent of their parents. The questionnaires were taken among Chinese and Japanese university students on the basis of the independent consciousness scale (Kato & Takagi, 1980) and the shortened version of the parenthood scale (Ochiai & Sato, 1996). In terms of dependence and independence, it was found that there are differences between Chinese and Japanese university students. Chinese students depend on their parents much more than Japanese students do. However, the independence consciousness of Chinese students is also significantly higher than that of Japanese students. | |||||
