| 内容記述 | 本研究は少数者影響に及ぼす不確定志向性の効果を検討することであった。参加者は60名の大学生であった。模擬陪審場面を構成するために彼らを5名ずつの12グループにランダムに分けた。刑事事件の模擬陪審場f酊で構成された多数者・少数者葛藤事態において,参加者は自分の意見を述べるように求められた。実験の結果,確定志向の被験者は個人の意見と受容域の幅を多数者の意見の方向にシフトさせていた。一方,不確定志向の被験者はそのような意見のシフトを示さず,受容域も変化させなかった。これらの結果は,不確定志向と確定志向の問に異なった少数者影響の過程が存在することを示唆している。本知見は不確定志向性理論の観点から考察された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The effects of uncertainty orientation on minority influence were examined in this study. The participants of this study were 60 university students. They were randomly divided into 12 groups of 5 members in order to make mock jury situations. Each student was asked to deliver his/her verdict on a criminal case under majority-minority conflict in the situation. Results indicated that certainty oriented subjects showed opinion shifts toward the majority's position and convergence of latitude of acceptance. Uncertainty oriented subjects did not show such opinion shifts, but maintained their latitude of acceptance. The results suggested that there are different minority influence processes in uncertainty oriented persons and certainty oriented persons. These findings were discussed from the standpoint of the theory of uncertainty orientation. | |||||
