| 内容記述 | アルコール依存症者には,家族関係や社会的信頼を崩壊させ入退院を繰り返し,その結果として長期入院を余儀なくされ漫然と時が過ぎ,生き甲斐を失った生活を送っていることも稀ではない。そこで今回われわれはICD-10でアルコール依存症候群と診断された長期入院中の10名に4ヶ月間の園芸療法を試み,園芸療法が日常生活の心理状態にどのような影響を及ぼすか検討した。心理的変化の評価として,園芸療法開始1i町と全課程終了後に12 items General Health Questionnaire(GHQ12)を施行した。統計学的検定は一・元配鍛分散分析を行った。その結果,GHQ12は,12項目全てを統合すると園芸療法前と比較し終了後には有意な改善を示した。また,項目別では,「不眠」「生きがい」「決断力」「日常生活を楽しむ」「幸せと感じる」の5項目で有意な改善がみられた。これらの結果から自然に親しみ,作物の実る喜びなど自然と一体感を体験する園芸療法は,長期入院しているアルコール依存症者のQOLを高める上で,重要な役割を持つと考えられた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | It is not rare for alcoholics to admit that. they have spent their life idly and emptily because they destroyed their family relationship and lost social confidence. We examined what, kind of psychological effect horticultural therapy, an applied adjustment therapy using plants and gardening materials, would have on patients mental state, social skills, self-esteem and use of leisure time in their daily life. Ten alcoholics diagnosed by ICD-10 had 4 months of such therapy. Twelve items in a General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-12) were examined before and after the therapy course to evaluate the psychological changes in the daily life of the alcoholics. One-way ANOVA was carried out for statistical testing. As the result, all 12 items of the GHQ as integrated showed a significant improvement after horticulture therapy in comparison with before. There was a significant improvement in 5 items; "insomnia", "value of living", "decision ability", "daily life is enjoyed", and "sensed with fortune". It was suggested that the horticultural therapy, by which they experienced close contact with nature, enjoying growing and ripening etc., had an important role relating to the quality of life of alcoholics with long term hospitalization. | |||||
