| 内容記述 | 本研究は,在宅で生活する健常高齢者及び慢性疾患を有する高齢者108名(男性45名,女性63名,平均年齢74.3歳)の主観的健康感をVisual Analogue Scale(VAS)によって調査し,高齢者に負担をかけることなく,短時間で容易に調査できるVASの主観的健康感アセスメント法としての信頼性と妥当性を検証した。VASの信頼性については,再テスト法を用いて検討した。また,妥当性を検証するため,WHO's心の健康度インベントリー(subjective well-being inventory;SUBI)との関連性を検討した。その結果,級内相関係数が0.91という高い再現性が確認され,信頼性のある尺度であることが分かった。さらに,対象とした健常な高齢者や整形疾患・内科疾患・脳血管障害を有する在宅高齢者の全てのグループのVAS値は,SUBI総得点と有意に正の相関を示した。VAS値が高い人ほど,SUBI総得点と各SUBI下位尺度項目得点が高く,VASの妥当性が明らかとなった。これらの知見は,VASが高齢者の主観的健康感尺度として,信頼性と妥当性を兼ね備えていることを示唆する。また,VASは,健常高齢者及び疾患を有する高齢者の体調の変化を的確に捉えられることから,個人の主観的健康感を横断的に,あるいは前方向視的にフォローアップするために,十分使用できることが示唆された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to examine the reliability and validity of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), and compare chronic patients among old people. VAS was developed as a method of self-assessment of health in order to facilitate the investigation even for elder patients. Subjects were N=108 (45 men, woman 63, age of average 74.3 years old), divided into 4 groups: (1) normal older n=31, (2) orthopaedics disease n=36, (3) internal medicine disease n=19, (4) cerebrovascular disease n=22. The reliability of VAS was very high (intraclass correlation coefficient of 0.91) with test- retest method. Also, we examined the correlation with SUBI (The subjective well-being inventory) by WHO. It shows significant positive correlation between VAS scores and general SUBI scores, as well as the most of sub-scales of SUBI in all 4 groups, which means the higher VAS score, the higher general SUBI score and each sub-scale of SUBI. This scale analysis showed the good validity of VAS. These results suggested that VAS is a useful method of self-assessment of health with accurate reliability and validity. Finally, this study shows the VAS can be used for validating subjective health for individual crosssectional and positive follow-ups, an accurate method of assessment for the health condition of both chronic patients and other elder people. | |||||
