Factor analysis of the temporary scale of 40 items based on \"Image concerning the relaxation\" for 234 university students was done. As a result, four factor 30 items have been extracted. Factor 1 is \"positive-active\" (9 items, α=0.86), factor 2 is \"stability-relaxation\" (8 items, α=0.89) , factor 3 is \"sensitiveness-tension\" (8 items, α=0.87), factor 4 is \"Anxiety-worry\" (5 items, α=0.78) . The relation between relaxation effect scale made by this research and STAI (state-trait anxiety inventory) was examined. The negative correlation was seen in factor 1 and factor 2, the positive correlation was seen in factor 3 and factor 4. Therefore, the construct validity was confirmed. Then, autogenic training standard exercise was conducted for five weeks for 8 university students, and the change in the relaxed state before and after the practice was measured. As a result, the experimental group has significantly decreased than the control group in the state of the rest for the score before and after the practice of factor 4 \"Anxiety-worry\". Therefore, the scale made by this research is thought to be appropriate to measure the relaxed state.
