| 内容記述 | 本研究はWeary & Edwards(1994)が開発したCausal Uncertainty(CU)尺度の日本語版を作成し,その妥当性と信頼性を検討することを目的とした。このCU尺度は社会的出来事の因果関係を理解し,予測する能力について個人がもつ永続的な不確定性を測定する。被験者は大学生と専門学校生490名であった。分析の結果,日本版CU尺度は,オリジナル版と同様,内的一貫性が高く,一因子構造であることが確かめられた。また,日本語版CU尺度の概念的妥当性も確かめられた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | The Casual Uncertainty Scale (Weary & Edwards, 1994) measures chronic individual differences in people's uncertainty about their ability to understand and detect cause-and-effect relationships in the social world. The purpose of this study was to develop a Japanese version of said scale and to test its reliability and validity. The subjects in the study were 390 Japanese university students and 100 Japanese vocational school students. Results indicated that the Japanese version has good internal reliability. Additionally, the results of a factor analysis suggested that this version appears to be tapping a single construct, just as the original one does. Furthermore, the convergent and discriminant validity of the Japanese version were confirmed. | |||||
