Narratives about relationship of parents were obtained through in-depth interviews with 4 men and 6 women (age 40-56). Through qualitative analysis using a grounded theory approach, 2 categories and 5 labeling concepts were identified: 2 categories were [intensive meaning about relationship] [nothing worth meaning about relationship]. 3 concepts: [reversed relationship], [transitional relationship], [unchanging relationship] were in relation to [intensive meaning about relationship]. 2 concepts: [unconsciousness of relationship], [cutting off meaning about relationship] were in relation to [nothing worth meaning about relationship]. Then these 5 narrative types were discussed by the view point of care giving.
