| 内容記述 | 家族機能の一つとされる介護機能は，他の集団や組織で代替え可能である副次機能と家族のみが行う本質機能があるとされる（石井，2005）。高齢化，少子化，核家族化の進む中，家族介護者の介護負担軽減のために，介護サービス，介護者以外の家族や近隣や友人などによる様々な援助が，ソーシャルサポートとして重要である。ところが，認知症高齢者を在宅で介護する家族介護者は認知症ならではの介護負担感を抱えているにもかかわらず，介護サービスを全く利用していない介護者がいるという調査報告もある（荒井，2002）。一方，一瀬（2001，2004）は周囲への支援要請が消極的であること，Hams（1993）は子供たちからの援助は限られているとする男性介護者の特性を報告している。 そこで，本研究は介護負担の緩衝手段とされているソーシャルサポートを希求する態度に焦点をあてた。デイサービスを利用する在宅認知症高齢者を介護する9名の家族介護者に「求められないサポートとその理由｣，「求められるサポートとその理由｣，「その他」について半構造化面接を行った。その結果，「求められないサポート」としては，男性で「情緒的サポート」が，女性で「直接的サポート」が回答に占める割合が高く，その理由のカテゴリーでは夫には「サポート提供者への遠慮や不足」嫁や娘からは「サポートを過去に求め，断られた経験」に基づくものがみられた。また，「求められるサポート」では男性，女性ともに「直接的サポート」の占める割合が高く，続柄では，夫と娘に高かった。その理由については夫や嫁からは家族に比べ，「専門家のサポート提供者への言いやすさ」が語られ，娘や嫁からは家族やその他の提供者からも様々なサポートを得ている発言があった。このように，男女や続柄，過去のサポートに関する体験など，ソーシャルサポート希求態度を規定する様々な要因があることがわかり，サポート希求に関する課題として存在することが示唆された。 |

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to collect the factors related to the attitudes, when family caregivers seek for social supports. Nine family caregivers who take care of dementia elderly persons at home were interviewed. The questions were about 1) the social supports you cannot seek for and those reasons (called "unable supports" and "unable reasons") and 2) the social supports you can seek for and those reasons (called "able supports" and "able reasons"). First we categorized the results answered about supports into 6 social support types ("A. emotional support", "B. companionship support", "C. direct instrumental support", "D, indirect instrumental support", "E, informational support", "F, economical support"). Next KJ method was employed to analyze the results mentioned about the reasons. We got 5 "unable reasons" categorized. Those were named as "Hesitation to the social support givers", "Isolation among neighborhood" ,"Lack of social support givers", "Experiences they had been refused by social support givers", "Anxiety for money". In "able reasons" we got 4 categorized group. They were named "Affability to social supporters", "Close feeling to neighborhood", "Satisfaction to social support givers","Expectation in the future". In the study we found the factors and differences of caregivers' attitudes for support seeking and more researches for social support seeking are obliged. |
