| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，青年の友人関係の特徴を広さと深さという２軸で判断し，抑うつとの関係性を検討することで，大学生においてどのような友人関係を築くことが抑うつの高さや低さと関連するのかを検証することであった。オンライン調査会社を利用し，大学生を対象に492名のデータを用いて相関分析を行うとともに，友人とのつき合い方を４つのタイプに分類し，抑うつを従属変数とする１要因共分散分析を行った。相関分析の結果，友人との親密度に関係なく，友人の数が多い人は抑うつが低い傾向にあることが示唆された。また，共分散分析の結果，友人とのつき合い方の４つのタイプにおいて抑うつの高さに違いがないことがわかった。これらのことから，友人関係の広さや深さといった一般的な基準で考えるのではなく，その学生が他者との関係性において何を求めているかを理解し，支援を行うことが現代青年のメンタルヘルスの維持・向上に重要となることが示唆される。 | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This study aimed to examine what types of friendships are associated with depression among university students by judging the friendships of contemporary adolescents on two axes: breadth and depth. Using an online research service, we got data from 492 university students. We conducted a correlation analysis and a one-factor analysis of covariance with depression as the dependent variable after classifying their friendships into four types. The results of the correlation analysis showed that depression tended to be lower among those who had more friends, regardless of the degree of closeness with friends.The analysis of covariance also showed that there was no difference in the level of depression among the four types of friendships. These results suggest that it is essential to understand what students seek in their relationships with others and to provide support accordingly, rather than considering a general criterion as the breadth or depth of friendships, to maintain and improve adolescents' mental health today. | |||||||||||||||||
