In Study 1, two factors were extracted, and a Japanese version of the SCOPE scale was made with 8 items for perfectionism tendency and 10 items for excellence. Both validity and reliability were confirmed. In Study 2, we examined the relationship between a Japanese version of the SCOPE scale and flexibility measures, which are the Hardness of Heart Scale, the Help-Seeking Style Scale, and the Cognition of Giving Up Scale, and support to promote psychological adaptation was examined.
