| 内容記述 | The organization of the university plays an important part in addressing the needs of its students. Administration is one of the key elements in any institution. The nature of the particular school or university and the success of its function as educator of young minds often depends on the dynamics of the administration of the school itself. Often the atmosphere generated by the administration as a guiding force in human behavior has its influence on the value of education provided. Some of the factors of administration dealt with in the first part of this paper are theory and planning, decision making, leadership types and perceptions, group roles and behaviors. Also dealt with is the nature of conflict within organizations and how it is dealt with depending on the type of administration in the particular institute. In the second part, the author treats educational planning from the aspect of administrative process. Here I deal with the definition of planning, the practices and trends in educational planning, and the types of plans. Finally, considering that the university has its existence within the framework of the larger society, I treat of the influence that local politics and policies may have on the running of schools. Of particular focus is how the decisions of the court systems and law making affect the activities of the institution and the effective leader's response to those forces. | |||||
