Its basic theory is unique and powerful in dealing with individual and collective edges or boundaries. We know on the other hand that intercultural studies today aim at managing \"cultural difference\" in the largest sense of the term: \"cultural difference\" involves here not simply national culture but also race, ethnicity, gender, age, education, health, sexual orientation et cetera. Supposing our inner and outer world diversity, Intercultural Communication seeks ways to cross our cultural boundaries so as to integrate different cultures. In addressing this challenge, Process Work seems to provide a useful tool in that its Edgework is elaborate and readily available for personal and organizational development.
